Berthe Collar

I know I said I was starting with the No Wool Socks last time I blogged here, but I found a lovely ball of Elle 'Monet' yarn on Wednesday and just couldn't resist buying it & knitting up the Berthe Collar first! It's lovely and soft, and the colours are beautiful, although unfortunately the photograph here doesn't do it justice. I knitted it on smaller needles than recommended (as suggested in the book), and as a result it sits comfortably snug around the neck and shoulders. I'm going to be looking out for other yarn to knit more of these.

Oh, and I will be getting on with my socks this weekend!
