Look at the gorgeous Tuscany shawl Sandra is knitting! In Seasilk, no less. Yummy.

I was so taken with the yarn and color in the book's sample, that I ordered the exact same thing. The Silken is absolutely divine. Can't wait to get started.

I am not alone- I am a fiber sniffer as well!

Simply gorgeous shawl in progress.

Do you have an Internet source for this fabulous silk yarn. I am trying to not actually walk into a Yarn store for the next several months as big bags usually follow me out:)

Internet is safer for me:)

You can find Silken here:

In Canada:
http://redbirdknits.com

In the US:
http://colorsongyarn.com/

Either of those retailers will order any Handmaiden or Fleece Artist yarn you want in any color you want. They're both great.

Oh Lawdy!

My Neiman Marcus tastes on a Target budget got me again. That silken better knit itself and give corrections at that price.

The most I have spent on a skein is $22 (and that was an extra special treat for me).

I'm still a single mom with a 10 year old in traveling soccer. He is my "money pit."

Any less expensive choices (less than $12 a skein or sites with discounted or clerance yarn).

Thank Ye Kindly

I found some interesting yarn on the hungersite. Banana leaf and recycled silk from Nepal. Proceeds go to feed hungry people.

Plan to order some soon.
